MANALAPAN TWP. POLICE DEPARTMENT
The Manalapan Township Police Department is accepting resumes for the position of police officer and SLEO 2. We are an accredited law enforcement agency and an equal opportunity employer. Requirements/ Overview:

Far Hills Police Department

 

The Far Hills Police Department is currently accepting resumes for the position of Police Officer. Applicants must possess the following qualifications. 

1. Be a citizen of the United States and the State of New Jersey 
2. Be able to read and write the English language 
3. Not have been convicted of any violations of laws of the State of New Jersey or the United States, except minor traffic offenses, nor shall have been convicted of any crime of offense involving moral turpitude. 
4. Provide proof of a high school diploma or approved high school equivalency certificate.

7. Submit to and successfully pass interview, physical and psychological testing

SOUTH BRUNSWICK POLICE DEPARTMENT

South Brunswick Township is looking to hire two Class II Police Officers to work in the South Brunswick Municipal Court.  Preference will be given to retired police officers.  They will be required to work approximately 20 Hours per week.  Preference will be given to retired police officers. The starting pay will be 30 dollars per hour.  All uniforms and equipment will be supplied.

Court Hours

  • First, third, and fifth Tuesday at 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.
  • Second and fourth Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.
  • Thursday are 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. every week.

WENONAH POLICE DEPARTMENT

The Borough of Wenonah, a historic community in southern New Jersey, is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Chief of Police.  The Chief manages a 24/7 seven (7) member department.  In accordance with N.J.S.A. 40A:14-118, "the Chief of Police shall be the head of the police force and that he shall be directly responsible to the Appropriate Authority for the efficiency and routine day to day operation thereof..."  Wenonah operates under a borough form of government.  The Borough of Wenonah is a one (1) square mile residential community with a population of approximately 2,300 people residing in 844 homes.  It is located 10 miles south of Philadelphia, PA in Gloucester County, New Jersey.  Wenonah has its own elementary school and all volunteer fire department.

CHESTER TWP. POLICE DEPARTMENT

Police Officer Opening 

The Chester Township Police Department is accepting resumes for the position of Probationary Police Officer.

Prerequisites for initial consideration are as follows:

Applicant must be a citizen of the United States and be a resident of New Jersey with a valid New Jersey Driver’s License.

Applicant must be able to speak, read and write in the English language fluently.

Applicant must successfully complete such oral, written, psychological and physical examinations as may be required.

Applicant must possess current New Jersey Police Training Commission Certification.

Applicant must have obtained at least an Associate’s Degree or higher from an accredited college or university.

A waiver of an Associate’s Degree requirement is permitted when a candidate has served in the United States military for four years and has received an honorable discharge.

Applicant must be EMT certified or be willing to obtain that certification within the first year of their employment. All officers will be required to maintain their status as Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT's) as a condition of their continued employment.

LONG HILL TWP. POLICE DEPARTMENT
